SFX 200 is a medium speed, black and white film with extended sensitivity into the infrared spectrum. While SFX 200 has extended sensitivity, the infrared effects are only realized with the use of an infrared filter, if shot normally SFX 200 acts as a standard panchromatic black and white film. Here at Latency we actually quite like the way SFX 200 renders skin tones in natural light portraits. Smooth grain and a medium contrast and film speed makes it a swiss army knife in your bag.
